          Early Life

          Ian Fraser Kilmister, better known as Lemmy, was born in in Stoke-on-Trent, England.

          His parents divorced three months after his birth, but his mother remarried and the family moved to a farm in North Wales. As a teenager, Lemmy was drawn to rock and roll and the lifestyle that came with it.

          Musical Career

          Lemmy began his career as a bass guitarist in various British rock bands, including "The Rainmakers," "The Motown Sect," and "The Rockin' Vickers." In , he moved to London and joined the bands "Opal Butterfly" and "Hawkwind," gaining a reputation as a troublemaker and being involved in drug scandals.
