          OCTOBER 5, 2016 — Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE:HII) reports that Brad Mason has been promoted to a vice president of its Newport News Shipbuilding division and president of its AMSEC LLC subsidiary.

          Mason earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a master’s degree from the U.S.

          Naval Post Graduate School. He joined AMSEC in 1998 and served most recently as the company’s director of operations for maintenance, modernization and technical services.

          He succeeds Harris Leonard, who will retire at the end of the year after 31 years of service.
